Foster

If you are interesting in fostering one of our dogs for us the process is as follows:

Please complete our online application form and where it says “dog interested in” please put FOSTER. Please then send us video/photos of all your garden boundaries. If you are unable to access our application form then we can send you a word document copy via email.

Once your completed application is received one of us will contact you for an informal chat and discuss the dog you are interested in fostering and will send you further details of what fostering involves.

If both parties are happy to take matters further we will arrange a homecheck using our team of trusted home checkers. Once we receive their report we will then contact you again to discuss the matter further. We can then advise of the suitability of the dog you are interested in or offer a more suitable alternative if necessary depending on your circumstances. We try and match each dog with the right home and other pets.

To bring the dogs to the UK we ask that the prospective fosterer pays the transport fee (usually about £500) which will be refunded to you once the dog is adopted. Very occasionally we have spare funds available to pay this from monies that one or two of our kind supporters have donated for this purpose.

We will then inform you of transport dates, collection points and any other useful information you will need.
