MEET HENRY — A BEAUTIFUL BOY RESCUED FROM TERRIBLE CONDITIONS 🐾
Henry is around 2–3 years old and was rescued from a house where dogs were being kept on chains in truly awful conditions.
Our rescue friend discovered the property and, together with other rescues, helped get the dogs out. Henry was rescued alongside Rose and Scarlett, while other dogs were taken into the care of different rescue organisations. ❤️
Sadly, when the property was discovered, one dog was found dead and had clearly been deliberately killed. It was a devastating reminder of just how serious the situation was. 💔
Henry himself was found covered in ticks and fleas, and his ears were very sore from fly bites and parasites. He later tested positive for anaplasmosis and received the treatment he needed.
We are very happy to say that Henry has now recovered well and is doing much better. 🫶
Despite everything he has been through, Henry is a truly beautiful boy with a lovely nature. He is great with other dogs and is enjoying finally being safe and cared for.
He has not been tested with cats, so we cannot confirm how he would be living with them.
