Leo is a six-year-old Labrador, and if resilience had a face, it would be his.
He was found on the streets in a desperate state by our rescue partners. The injuries he carried told a grim story — the vet is in no doubt that this was no accident. Someone hurt him badly. We spent several weeks quietly trying to trace any owners, but we'll leave it at that.
What we can tell you is who Leo really is: a beautiful, gentle giant. Despite everything he has been through, he is wonderful with dogs, children, and cats.
He has now recovered in foster and is almost ready to find the home he should have had all along. Leo still needs support with his vet bills and kennelling costs before he can travel — if you'd like to help, or think you could be his family, we'd love to hear from you.
