Setter Saviours

Foxy

Foxy

Foxy has been in foster in Exeter since the middle of December.

She is a shy girl but gradually coming out of her shell. She is very sweet and likes a belly rub and will reward you with a lick on your hand. She does a lovely little tap dance when excited. She weighs 14kgs and stands 51 cm high. She is clean in the house and quiet and sleeps through the night. She shares the house with 3 resident dogs who she gets on well with. She will lie quietly in the office when I’m at the computer.

She has been to an enclosed field where there is agility equipment and she has been copying one of the resident dogs going on things like the A-Frame, over small jumps and jumping on logs, all to get a treat. She travels well in the car. Doesn’t pull on the lead. Her ideal home would be a quiet one with possibly one other non-dominant dog to teach her the ropes and help her gain confidence.

Possibly could go as only dog if someone around all the time and lots of doggy socialisation. Would suit retired person or someone who works from home. She needs someone who will have time and patience to help her overcome her shyness and give her the confidence she needs. Her transport fee has been paid so only an adoption fee to pay.
