MEET LUCKY — AND HE REALLY IS LUCKY TO BE HERE 🐾
Lucky got his name for a very simple reason — he was incredibly lucky to be found when he was. ❤️
He was found wandering the streets covered in bruises and cuts, and he was struggling with one of his legs. We believe he may have been hit by a car.
Of course, we took him straight to the vet.
His blood results were terrible, and the vet told us that without treatment, Lucky probably would not have survived another five days. 💔
Thankfully, he was found in time.
Lucky received the treatment and therapy he desperately needed, and we are so happy to say that he is now recovering well. He will soon return to the vet for another check-up so we can see how his recovery is progressing.
His initial veterinary treatment alone has already cost over €200, and he still has several months of care ahead of him before he can travel.
Lucky is around 2–3 years old and, now that he is feeling better, his true personality is beginning to shine through. He is an active, playful young boy with a whole life ahead of him. 🥰
He should be ready to travel to the UK in January, and we are already accepting adoption applications for him.
Until then, Lucky also desperately needs a sponsor to help towards his veterinary care, food, kennelling and preparation for travel.
