Some dogs you just can't say no to. Luna was one of them.
This beautiful German Pointer girl was dumped — discarded by someone she had loved and been loyal to without question. When we saw her photo, the decision was made in an instant. We couldn't walk away, and we are so glad we didn't.
When Luna arrived, she was in a sorry state. Underweight, suffering from mange, and in need of treatment to get her back on her feet. But through it all, her spirit never wavered. Underneath the neglect was exactly what we suspected — a cuddly, loving, gentle girl who simply wanted to be somebody's dog again.
She is now almost unrecognisable from the dog we first took in. Luna is healthy, happy, and full of the quiet affection that German Pointers do so beautifully. She is currently awaiting spaying, after which she will be fully ready to find the forever home she has always deserved.
Luna trusted people even after people let her down. She deserves someone who will never do the same.
