MEET SCARLETT — A GENTLE GIRL WHO HAS SEEN FAR TOO MUCH 🐾
Scarlett is around 2 years old and was rescued alongside Henry and Rosie from the same property where dogs were being kept on chains in terrible conditions.
When she was taken to safety, Scarlett was shaking uncontrollably with fear. From her reaction to people and her surroundings, it was clear that this poor girl had experienced a great deal of distress and likely abuse. 💔
She is a beautiful German Pointer girl who now finally has the chance to learn that people can also be kind.
Soon after rescue, Scarlett was spayed, and during the procedure it was discovered that she was also in the early stages of pregnancy.
It is heartbreaking to think that she had already been through so much, while carrying puppies too.
Scarlett is now safe, recovering and beginning to settle. She is great with other dogs, which is lovely to see after everything she has experienced.
She will need a patient, understanding home where she can build confidence at her own pace and never again have to feel frightened of what might happen next.
