Setter Saviours

Togo

Togo

Togo, aged 2

German shorthaired pointer

Currently in foster in East Malling but can travel anywhere in the UK for the right home.
Togo has tried a home with small dogs but seems to get stressed with them and reacts,  so we are looking for a home with a dog of similar size or bigger. A home with experience of the breed would be great. No cats. Or as an only dog if can be socialised on walks.

An amazingly handsome boy with beautiful markings. Fit, healthy, energetic, loving and easy to please. Sleeps and eats well, walks on a lead and his recall training is great but will need to be continued in his new home, although he is now off lead most of the time and responds well.  He loves his toys, especially balls.

No small dogs or cats as he reacts to them in the home, although he is ok outside of the home with any size dog.  A child free home or older children due to his size.
He needs regular exercise but doesn't need excessive walking.

If he gets over stimulated he gets a wobble and drops to his knees for a moment, then gets up again straight away and carries on. After a few weeks in a home, this issue has disappeared. He can go on good long walks like most dogs do, just not an all day hikes!

He has had extensive vet assessments and scans and no reason is found for this wobble.
We think its maybe over stimulation and being in kennels, as in a home it's disappeared.
Its just him and his goofy happy ways that the foster carer and previous kennel staff say are amazing.

An easy dog to love and care for. A home with GSP experience would be ideal but not essential.
