Tommy was born on 20th August 2019, making him 6 years old — settled, characterful, and absolutely full of personality. He is wonderful with other dogs and has charmed everyone who has spent time with him.
Then there is the fetch. Tommy has somehow figured out the game entirely on his own. Throw something — anything — and he will search with total determination until he finds it and brings it back. We once threw a stick into the yard. He spent half an hour hunting through every corner until he found the exact one. This is a dog with focus, intelligence, and an absolutely unshakeable sense of purpose.
Lagotto Romagnolos are the only breed in the world officially recognised for truffle hunting, and that nose and that drive are very much present in Tommy. He is a rare breed, a rare character, and a very special find.
Tommy will be ready to travel to the UK in May.
