🐾 MEET VALOR — THE BRAVE BOY FIGHTING TO RECOVER 🐾
Valor was found by another rescuer, who contacted us and asked if we could take over his care.
His name means brave — and right now, that could not be more fitting. ❤️
We believe Valor may have been left behind after a hunt, severely injured and unable to move, lying in a canal.
He had been bitten by wild animals, his jaw was badly swollen and, when he was found, he could not even stand properly on his feet. 💔
At the moment, our biggest concern is his jaw and neck. There appears to be a large abscess and significant swelling, and we are hoping the surrounding tissue and skin have not been too badly damaged.
Valor is still under veterinary care and we expect to collect him from the vets later this week. Once we know more, we will of course share an update.
For now, all we can do is hope that this incredibly brave boy responds well to treatment and makes a strong recovery.
